Music inspired by the cultures of the Americas. Dvorak’s New World Symphony shares the program with New World dance music, Bernstein-style. Add the colorful and rhythmically driving music from Brazil interpreted by dancer, Grace Kolman, in full costume and splendor and you have one unique season opener.
